         Cloud experiment

 

Materials: Tall clear plastic cup, water, shaving cream, blue food coloring.

Students will …

  • Fill the cup half full of water.

  • Add shaving cream to the water for clouds.

  • Add a few drops of the food coloring onto the top of the cloud.

Teacher will …

- Describe the activity and do one example.

- Ask them some questions about the sound of the letters:

 

 What do you think will happen?

Where can we see the cloud? (Turn and talk)

  • Students will roll dice and use the tweezers to pick up the math resource and place in ice cube tray.

  • Play dough center – make cookies

  • Materials: play dough – card laminated have cookies picture.

  • Students will create cookies by play dough and put less or more with 2 color chips.

My event is how to manage my time on the carpet. 

When my MCT were observe me for the first time in (KG 2 – A) at “AL Awaeel Kindergarten”

Outcome: KES2: Describe characteristics of weather/ Identify characteristics of weather/ Illustrate characteristics of weather.

 

 


Describe

 

 I chose this event because I had some problems while I was delivering the lesson, in Tuesday they had science at 11:15am in class. In addition, after break students had Islamic so they were sit on carpet for long time. When I started the lesson students were tired and they look like sleepy. Also, they don’t want to respond to me. 

 

 

Analyze

I think this problem happen because in Islamic lesson students were set on the carpet around 25 minutes.  And they did not have any activities. As result of that student felt bored and laziness. 

 

 

 Appraise

 

 

I learn from my event for next time I should make quake movement game activity.  As result of that to refresh them.  How: For example, stand up … sit down, Marching marching dance.. dance.. dance, clap, or any things you or the students want, know we stop … know we stop .. Ok, let’s sit down and fold your arms. Then start your lesson.  Why: Transition movement games help teacher to manage students also to break the routine and refresh them.   

 

Transform

 

In my next teaching, make sure to use different strategies for transition to break the routine and refresh them. If the students need to manage them. And pass the lesson successfully.   make sure to ignore anything that annoying me, remind them the rules and praise other students to encourage misbehave students.

This is a math lesson "More and Less" which I taught at AL Awaeel Kindergarten for KG 2 students. The important thing that I learned from my mistake is how to manage   with misbehave students

I will do the action for each type of the weather; students will say the weather name. According to the song action (How is the weather?)

  • Using the step up who is following the class rules.
