Week 2 - Daily reflection 3.2
The second week
Sunday: After the daily routine, then both teachers of Arabic and English started the literacy lesson. I worked with a group where I put a focus that every week I do. For example, on this week, I tried to focus on the corner. I also wanted to know and learn what types of questions to ask students to improve this skills at me and deal with the corners. I also learned more on the corners. On this day, I learned how to model the activities. After the students leave, I prepared the class for the next day with the teachers of the class as I had an observation with Mrs. Kesha as she would come on Monday to observe me.
Monday: On that day, Mrs. Kesha came to observe me for a math lesson. The lesson was enjoyable for the students and even they responded to me and were engaged in the class. Before Mrs. Kesha leave the class, she gave me a feedback and showed that it was a wonderful lesson.
Tuesday: I was at the college where we had on that day some teachers from Zakher Kindergarten who came to observe how the teachers explain the lesson. I learned some more things from Mrs. Amenda. That was beneficial for me to take some ideas and apply them to the school.
Wednesday: I did the task one where I told the teacher that I would observe here on task one. That was to explain how to ask higher order questions of Bloom Taxonomy. I learned how the teacher does the lesson and I managed to ask them more questions about the lesson and also there was a reflection time where children provide their work on the project and children ask each other higher order questions for Bloom Taxonomy.
Thursday: I introduced literacy lesson with the Arabic class teacher.Also, we did the activities with each other, and the children were happy.We taught children about the desert and the animals in the desert and showed them that our environment is a desert one. Then we moved to the corners and did art about desert animals environment.
