
Peer observation
On Sunday march 15, 2017. She did a literacy review lesson about the different environment (ocean, desert, jungle). The outcomes were KLTC9: Ask questions relate to the topic. KLTC1: Follow two or more step direction. KLLK2: Recognize the sequence of letters in words. KLLK3: Use efficient and consistent motion to form letters. K2C2: Create an artistic work from his/her own plan using observation skills. KES3: Identify features of the natural environment. The lesson was meant to review the different environment they already learned
She planned five centers and anther two for an extension for the lesson. In the opening, she introduces the lesson to the students and showed a PowerPoint that was about the different habitat. Then she played the song ‘walking through the jungle’. Then she played the animal dice and the students throw the dice then tell me what was the animal and do the action like ‘slither like a snake’. Then she asked the students to sort the pictures and put it in the right habitat that they belong to. After that, I explained the centers.
In the focus center, the students have different boxes for each habitat, then the students put the pictures in the right environment.
In the art center, the students used different materials like the plate, colored papers, crayon and the glue to make an octopus.
In the construction center, the students worked together and used the Lego to create their own jungle with the animals.
In the computer center, she asked the students to use the paint program and draw the different habitat.
In the lesson, she reviewed for the students about the different habitat.
Area for development
Eiman needs to work in:
Classroom management with misbehaves students.
Active engagement should be more attract to engage all students.
Time management. (make sure to no need to explain everything because students know everything and that effect in their behavior.)
